Asymptote’s Emerging Translator Contest

The journal Asymptote has announced their first-ever translation contest.

Close Approximations,” their new international contest, will be judged by two translators, Eliot Weinberger (poetry) and Howard Goldblatt (fiction), and they’re offering 1,000 USD to the winner in each category, as well as publication in Asymptote. The winners and shortlist will be announced in their January 2014 issue.
